Prometric Test Centers are Reopening & ONLINE TESTING IS COMING!
Where do you go for accurate information about FINRA/NASAA testing during COVID-19? Circumstances are evolving rapidly, websites are overwhelmed and new Prometric and FINRA policies impact all existing and future exam appointments.
Here’s what we currently know, straight from FINRA and Prometric:
1. If your existing scheduled exam is impacted, you’ll receive an email from Prometric.
2. Testing at Prometric Test Centers will resume in stages:
• Most Prometric Test Centers are closed through May 31
• Certain test centers in limited geographic regions will reopen on May 1, available only to essential industry exams, including financial services
• Capacity will be limited for social distancing
3. New Online Testing is coming soon:
• Candidates will test on their employer-issued or personal, camera-equipped computers
• Prometric will supervise online exams via computer camera and other web tools
• Initial online exams will include:
o SIE
o Series 6
o Series 7
o Series 63
o Series 66
• Testing capacity and exam offerings will increase over several weeks
